Puré de Lentilhas / Mashed Lentils

Uma sugestão diferente do habitual puré de batata. Tenho em casa lentilhas castanhas e resolvi cozinhar para preparar este acompanhamento que serviu apenas para mim. 

Servi com coelho no forno.

Ingredientes:

- Lentilhas;

- Água;

- Sal;

- Cebola;

- Salsa.

1. Cozer as lentilhas em água e sal. No fim escorrer.

2. Colocar as lentilhas num liquidificador ( ou outro aparelho ) e adicionar a cebola e a salsa. Reduzir a puré.

One suggestion different from the usual mashed potatoes. I got home some brown lentils and I decided to cook them and make this side dish.

I served with rabbit cooked in the oven.

Ingredients:

- Lentils;

- Water;

- Salt;

- Onion;

- Parsley.

1. Boil the lentils in salted water. Remove and drain them.

2. Place the lentils in a blender (or other machine) and add the onion and parsley. Reduce to puree.
